TAC-Bird

TAC-Bird is an advanced development non-toxic polymer/cellulose based sorbent product for insitu cleaning of petroleum infested wildlife. TAC-Bird has no detergents and results in quick release of the soiled wildlife with a higher survival rate than current methodologies . TAC-Bird is useful for wetland oil spills because of its easy transport (buckets of sorbent, thats all). TAC-Bird is field proven,cost effective and convienent for high risk areas. The easy setup for cleaning wildlife without the need for washing and isolating the soiled creatures is a god-send. Recently, a Norwegian wildlife group used an early version of TAC-Bird sorbent to successful treat oil soiled birds. Current detergent washing and incubation causes soilded bird to be traumatize and results in lower survival rates. TAC-Bird cleans the wildlife but preserves the natural oils in the fur or feathers because it only attacks the petroleum.
